I usually hold my breath every year hoping the weather will cooperate for a birthday ride... sometimes I get lucky. As it turns out we have snow on the ground and it is cold.I did get a drive to breakfast before we layered up around noon and rode sixty some odd cold miles to the north end of Denver. We have a Memorial Mission tomorrow for the husband of Tim's cousin. We made a decision to ride south this afternoon rather than ride early in the morning with temps below freezing.
Snow on the ground makes for a frosty birthday ride
Frost on the pumpkin... or jack-o-lantern - lol!So we are tucked away in a motel for the night after a great birthday stroll for supper at a nearby Chili's - shrimp tacos and a couple of margaritas gave us a proper thaw.
