Our destination was lunch at Fee's Knic Knacs Café, a little eatery now housed in what was once a little resale store. Okay junk store. There's an interesting back story... the junk store owner would sell but the buyers had to take all the junk - um... er… knic knacs. Anyway, the reviews are great and Ringgold is a short drive east on Hwy 82 out of Henrietta TX.
On the menu today was Cajun Jambalaya and Boudain which three of us ordered. The other two (guess which ones) ordered liver and onions. The jambalaya was great! I cannot vouch for the liver and onions although word is it was tasty!
You have to stop and check the place out. On the outside it looks like a little dive (not that there's anything wrong with a dive because we love 'em) but Fee's is far from it. Small, cozy and nicely appointed. The wait staff was friendly and efficient, the place was squeaky clean and the food is excellent.
