Think about it...

Every man dies, but not every man lives. I will turn my body into Heaven totally used up.

About Photos and Video/Slideshows

In most cases a single click on a photo in a post will enlarge the photo which is helpful if you are trying to read an inscription on a historical marker or plaque. X out or use escape to get back to the post. A double click on a video will take the video to full screen. A double click on a slide show will take you to a larger screen but you will have to toggle through the photos manually. Escape will get you out of full screen for videos and slide shows. Please Note: The blog videos are under revision in order to conform to new code requirements so if one doesn't work - be patient - I'm getting there. Thanks and enjoy -- Vik - Our Harley Days Aug 2018 (2008 thru Jan 2012 revised so far).

Seger says...

I will answer the wind
I will leave with the tide
I’ll be out on the road
Every chance I can ride

Sage advice...

A bend in the road does not have to be the end of the road, unless you don't make the turn...

Kid rock sings

Fast, on a rough road riding
High, through the mountains climbing
twisting, turning further from my home.
Young, like a new moon rising
Fierce, through the rain and lightning
Wandering out into this great unknown.

Stay Close to the Edge...

I want to stay as close to the edge as I can without going over. Out on the edge you see all kinds of things you can't see from the center.-- Kurt Vonnegutt (1922 - 2007)

WE WILL NOT FORGET

Just for the record...

Yes, we are a family of Harley-Davidson owners and riders. We love our Harleys. We love the United States. We support our troops. We love the freedom to ride. This blog was created to share our adventures and rides with each other, our friends and others of a like mind. With that said, we don't care what you ride or even if you ride. If you like motorcycles, ride motorcycles or just hang out on blogs about motorcycles... welcome.

Open Road Video

Only a biker knows...

We Don't Do Fear.

Over the last 105 years in the saddle, we've seen wars, conflicts, depression, recession, resistance, and revolutions. We've watched a thousand hand-wringing pundits disappear in our rear-view mirror. But every time, this country has come out stronger than before. Because chrome and asphalt put distance between you and whatever the world can throw at you. Freedom and wind outlast hard times. And the rumble of an engine drowns out all the spin on the evening news. If 105 years have proved one thing, it's that fear sucks and doesn't last long. So screw it. Let's ride.

Life is...

Progress Update: 2018-07-18

Evolution...

There is grandeur in this view of life, with its several powers, having been originally breathed into a few forms or into one; and that, whilst this planet has gone cycling on according to the fixed law of gravity, from so simple a beginning endless forms most beautiful and most wonderful have been, and are being, evolved.
