Today we digress from the typical post to celebrate Nezzie's birthday. Nezzie, as she is known to the biker buds, is simply MOM to me. While she may not ride in fact, she is with us down every road we travel. Mom is the reason any of us are riding today. In 2007, she made certain Dad got back in the saddle of a sweet 2007 Dyna after 50 some odd non-riding years. When we saw how much fun Dad was having, we had to get in on it, so a 2008 Heritage found its way home with us. Now Dad is riding a 2009 Road King and we are riding a 2010 Ultra. What a great time we are having - all because Mom took the initiative to get us rolling. Mom always says, Never ride faster than your angel can fly. What she doesn't know is SHE is that angel. Our Harley Angel. We count ourselves lucky to have this special lady in our lives and we thank her from our collective hearts for paving the way to Our Harley Days.Sharing Mom's smile... through the last 74 years
