Chilly Dealership Ride

Well Tim had a gift card to Thunder Mountain Harley-Davidson burning a hole in his pocket so we leathered-up about 1:30 pm and rolled out under gray skies with temps struggling to get out of the 30s. We didn't stay out long. Temps rose a few degrees while we were roaming around the dealership but the sun never put in an appearance.

Vik's First Ride 2013

Woo Hoo! My first ride of 2013 started out at about 50 degrees under bright blue Colorado skies. As with most rides this time of year, this one was an errand ride aka ammo run. On the way home we had the good fortune to spy a bald eagle making lazy circles in the sky... how kool is that! The sight of such a magnificent creature always makes my day. The round trip was about 25 miles and for now it'll do.

Yeah - he's only off to work a Saturday shift but he doesn't usually leave out for work with such a big grin on his face - 44 degrees and the roads are almost clear in the neighborhood after weeks of being encased in a skating rink.

We will stage a sit-in-by-the-fire to welcome the New Year 2013. We will allow snow and ice pack on the neighborhood streets to dictate our activities for the time being. Resolutions are for Procrastinators so we will likely pull out our matching Harley road planners and our new Harley calendar (thanks Folks) and start cussing and discussing the where and when and distance of our 2013 rides.

The future is never certain but if we have anything to do with it there are a few more s'miles out there we need to roll up on.

With that said, if you are checking in - Happy New Year to you and yours. May you find peace, love, prosperity and wide open roads in your future. As always we wish you and yours the bright blessing of enduring freedom and send our heartfelt appreciation to those who strive to preserve those freedoms.
