Wichita Falls, TX -- The Community Cyclists Compassion Run 2008 to benefit Hospice of Wichita Falls was a success. Preliminary reports say event proceeds exceeded the goal of $10,000.
Although the day was cloudy and cool, over 200 bikers turned out for the 100 plus mile run through the surrounding countryside and slow ride events. Mr Meaner entertained the crowd with their unique rhythm and blues sound. Cousin Clay Sanderson plays guitar in the group.
Dad (Ted Foster) helped organize the events. Mom (Inez Foster) helped organize Dad (haha!) and was instrumental in getting Mr Meaner to donate their time and considerable talent for the cause. Mom sent photos so I could put together this entry. Great job folks! I can't wait to get my t-shirt!
